Henry County Right to Life Scholarship Rules and Regulations

Pro-life students have the opportunity to receive a $1000 scholarship! The contest is open to any student who:

• Lives in Henry County Illinois or, if a high school student, attends a high school in Henry County Illinois

• Will be a high school senior or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior

• Maintains a GPA of C+ or better and provide a transcript

 

Essays should be typed in 12-point font and double-spaced. Be sure to cite all sources. ​

Essays and applications must be submitted or postmarked by March 31, 2025 to P.O. Box 121, Geneseo, IL 61254.

By submitting an essay, students and their parents agree that their work is original, but not copyrighted, and may be reprinted by Henry County Right to Life. 

 

Our scholarship committee will judge the entries on originality, content and accuracy, and the winner will be notified personally. The scholarship will be made directly payable to the winner’s college in the student's name.
